Dear Friends and Family,
Dr. Paul Gray, age 35, general surgeon and director of our PAACS surgical residency program has been acutely ill this past week. He has had very high fevers with chills and has taken the full course of medication for malaria, typhoid and relapsing fever. After receiving treatment here in Soddo for three days he was transferred to the Korean Christian Hospital in Addis Abba which is the best hospital in the country. Doctors at the Korean Hospital are still at a lost to explain what is causing his very high fevers. He is currently on three very powerful antibiotics and continues to spike high temperatures. If he is not better by Tuesday decisions will be made to evacuate him out of the country. Please pray for him, those caring for him, his wife Becka and his children Nathan and Lydia. Please pray for his healing and against any forces that may want to cause him bodily harm.
